Morocco to Offer Free Airfare for Students Attending Top French Engineering and Business Schools

The Moroccan Ministry of National Education has unveiled a groundbreaking initiative aimed at facilitating the academic journeys of its brightest students. Starting from the 2026 academic year, the ministry will cover the airfare for Moroccan candidates who meet the eligibility criteria to participate in oral examinations at premier engineering and business schools in France. This significant move is designed to support outstanding students and enhance their opportunities for success.

This initiative specifically targets students who are either enrolled in their second year of preparatory classes for Grandes Écoles within Morocco or those who have already completed their second year and have been called to undertake oral exams in France. According to the Ministry, this program is part of a broader effort to promote equality of opportunity and encourage academic excellence among Moroccan students.

The program encompasses candidates preparing for entrance exams to prestigious business schools, including BCE and Ecricome, as well as those aiming for engineering schools such as X-ENS, Centrale Supélec, Mines-Ponts, CCINP, and ENSAM. Notably, candidates for the CCINP exam must achieve a minimum score of 13.5 out of 20 to qualify.

Selection criteria will be based on the ranking of schools on the list of institutions eligible for Moroccan scholarships, alongside the results of written examinations. In instances where candidates from the same institution are tied, a draw will be conducted to determine the successful applicant. The total number of scholarship recipients will vary depending on the availability of slots.
