According to the organizers, nearly 15,000 runners are expected to take part, reflecting a substantial increase in interest compared to previous years. In the 2025 edition, over 12,000 participants from 52 countries had already showcased the event's growing appeal. Since its inception in 2017 with just 1,100 participants, the "International 10K" has witnessed remarkable growth. Initially part of the Casablanca Marathon, it has evolved into an independent event that now draws a diverse crowd, ranging from enthusiastic amateurs to seasoned athletes. The event's certified course and adherence to international standards have further elevated its status, attracting elite competitors. Approximately 200 elite runners are anticipated to join the race, promising an exciting and competitive atmosphere in the heart of Casablanca as they aim for top performances.
