In April alone, the number of travelers passing through Essaouira-Mogador Airport reached 32,065, reflecting an impressive growth of 25.29% compared to 25,593 passengers recorded in April 2025. The data further highlights the dominance of international flights at this airport facility, with a total of 97,641 passengers, marking a 14.41% increase, while domestic flights saw a significant decline with only 240,000 passengers, down 88.43%.
Additionally, the airport recorded a 16.31% increase in aircraft movements, totaling 756 flights by the end of April 2026, compared to 650 flights during the same period last year. On a national scale, commercial air transport across the kingdom's airports reached 12,336,962 passengers by the end of April 2026, reflecting a 9.7% increase compared to the previous year.
