BingoPlus Introduces the Inaugural Philippine ADT Open: A New Era for Golf in the Philippines

A Historic Partnership for Philippine Golf

The International Series has established itself as the premier pathway in the realm of golf, characterized by a series of elite tournaments co-sanctioned by LIV Golf and the Asian Tour. This prestigious initiative not only showcases top-tier talent but also provides a year-long Rankings Winner and Runner-Up promotion for participants aspiring to join the LIV Golf League. In this context, the inaugural BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open marks a transformative chapter for Philippine golf, as it brings elite regional competition to the renowned Luisita Golf and Country Club, while simultaneously offering a direct pathway to The International Series. Notably, the top two Filipino finishers in this tournament will secure coveted spots in the highly anticipated 2026 BingoPlus Philippine Open.

In a groundbreaking move, BingoPlus has solidified its influence on Philippine golf by forging a historic partnership with the Asian Development Tour (ADT) for the first-ever 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open, scheduled to take place from June 17 to 20 at the expansive Luisita Golf and Country Club in Tarlac. As the leading and most trusted Filipino online entertainment platform, BingoPlus, owned by DigiPlus, is broadening its footprint in the sports realm following its successful presentation of the 2025 International Series (IS) Philippines in October of the previous year.

A Platform for Local Talent

The 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open boasts an impressive prize pool of USD 100,000, which serves as a significant incentive for local golfers. The tournament not only promises a competitive atmosphere but also provides an important opportunity for the top two Filipino finishers to earn exemptions into the prestigious 2026 BingoPlus Philippine Open. This event is set to feature a remarkable lineup of 132 elite players, including 82 from the ADT, 30 representing the National Golf Association of the Philippines (NGAP), 6 from the Philippine national team, and 14 additional invitees, ensuring a diverse and competitive field.

Jasper Vicencio, the President of AB Leisure Exponent, Inc., expressed his enthusiasm for once again witnessing the Philippines’ best golfers compete on home soil. Reflecting on the success of the previous year's International Series Philippines presented by BingoPlus, Vicencio stated, "I’m truly grateful for the ADT for coming to terms with this historic title partnership with BingoPlus, as our organizations are aligned in providing avenues for the world’s best golfers to showcase their skills." He further emphasized BingoPlus's commitment to grassroots sports development, highlighting the potential for local talent to rise to national prominence through this tournament.

Ken Kudo, General Manager of ADT, also shared his excitement about returning to the Philippines, a country known for its significant contributions to Asian golf. Kudo expressed gratitude towards Luisita Golf and Country Club for hosting the event for the second consecutive season and acknowledged BingoPlus for stepping in as the title sponsor. He noted, “The Philippines is such a big contributor to Asian golf, with great players and great golf courses, so it was important to make sure we returned here this season.”

Admission to the 2026 BingoPlus Philippine ADT Open will be free for the public throughout the duration of the tournament, inviting golf enthusiasts and the community to witness this historic event firsthand.
