His Excellency elaborated on the declaration’s foundation in prophetic traditions, specifically referencing the "Constitution of Medina," which underscores the principle that inclusive citizenship is essential for the cohesion of contemporary Muslim societies. He articulated that safeguarding the rights of religious minorities is a fundamental tenet rooted in the Islamic faith and its core values, while also acknowledging the esteemed patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco, under whose auspices the founding conference was held.
