Scheduled Maintenance Causes Temporary Water Interruptions in Marrakech
The Regional Multi-Service Company of Marrakech-Safi has announced a planned maintenance operation aimed at improving the quality of drinking water services in Marrakech. This initiative is part of their ongoing effort to ensure a reliable water supply for residents. According to the company’s official announcement, the scheduled maintenance work will lead to reduced water flow or temporary water supply interruptions in several neighborhoods on Monday, June 22, 2026, during the early hours of the morning.
This maintenance operation is expected to affect areas including Al-Azhar 1, Al-Azhar 2, Al-Sanabar, and Jnan Oraad. Water supply disruptions are anticipated to commence at midnight and last until approximately 4:00 AM. The company has assured customers that its technical teams will work diligently to complete the maintenance tasks within the designated time frame, implementing all necessary measures to restore water supply as promptly as possible once the maintenance is concluded.
In light of these interruptions, the company urges residents in the affected areas to take essential precautions, such as conserving water and managing their consumption wisely during the outage. They also expressed their gratitude to the community for their understanding and cooperation during this necessary maintenance period.
