In an exciting move for travelers and businesses alike, Royal Air Maroc has announced a significant increase in service frequencies across various routes in Africa, effective June 2026. The changes will see the Casablanca to Abuja route increasing from four to seven flights per week starting June 26, 2026, providing travelers with greater flexibility. Similarly, the route to Accra will expand from seven to nine weekly flights, effective June 4, 2026. Moreover, the Casablanca to Bamako service will witness an increase from ten to twelve flights weekly between June 30 and September 12, 2026. This uptick in frequencies is poised to cater to the growing demand for air travel within Africa.
Additionally, Royal Air Maroc will implement a new triangle routing for flights connecting Casablanca, Brazzaville, and Kinshasa starting June 17, 2026. This route will offer one weekly flight in both directions, replacing the previous schedule. Other key adjustments include the introduction of nonstop service from Casablanca to Cotonou and Douala, with the latter seeing an increase in weekly flights from one to five effective June 16, 2026. Notably, the overall service to Douala will rise from seven to thirteen weekly flights during the summer period.
Further expansions include an increase in the Casablanca to Lagos route from twelve to fourteen weekly flights effective June 30, 2026, and an increase from three to four weekly flights to Libreville starting June 1, 2026. The airline will also enhance its weekly service to Lomé, transitioning to a nonstop route, with an increase to four flights per week starting June 17, 2026, and five flights between June 26 and September 18, 2026. Lastly, the service to Ouagadougou will increase from six to seven flights per week effective June 7, 2026.
