Rachel Kerr Located After Worrying Disappearance
A Scottish woman, Rachel Kerr, who was reported missing while vacationing in Morocco, has been located safe, according to updates from her family. The 31-year-old, hailing from Dunblane, had not been in touch with her loved ones since she checked out of her hotel in the popular seaside resort of Agadir. Her family expressed deep concern for her safety, noting that she was last seen leaving the SMART nightclub in Agadir around 5 a.m. on the day she went missing, and her phone was reportedly turned off, further heightening their worries.
In a heartfelt social media post, Claire Hill, Kerr’s cousin, shared the encouraging news that Rachel has been found and is now safe with her family. She thanked everyone who assisted by providing information and support during the search. Another family member, Peter Kerr, also took to Facebook to announce that Rachel is now reunited with her brother, expressing gratitude to all who shared the appeal for help.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) has confirmed that they are providing assistance to Ms. Kerr's family during this distressing time. A spokesperson for the FCDO stated, “We are supporting the family of a British woman who is missing in Morocco.” However, it remains unverified by the official agency that Rachel has been successfully traced.
