easyJet Expands Horizons with New Routes to Morocco

easyJet Announces Exciting New Routes to Morocco

In a significant move to enhance travel options for its passengers, easyJet, the budget airline, has unveiled plans to introduce six new routes, including pivotal connections between the UK and Morocco. This announcement coincides with the establishment of a new three-aircraft base in Marrakech, Morocco, which is expected to create around 100 new jobs in the region. The airline's strategic expansion marks a noteworthy milestone as it celebrates two decades of operations in Morocco, during which it has successfully transported over 20 million passengers.

The new routes are set to launch this November, featuring direct flights from Newcastle to Marrakech and from Birmingham to Agadir, thereby increasing the total number of routes to Morocco to an impressive 58, with 30 of those serving Marrakech alone. Kenton Jarvis, the CEO of easyJet, expressed his enthusiasm regarding this development, stating, "We couldn't be happier to launch our base in Morocco for our 20th year of operations in the country and to mark the milestone of 20 million passengers flown over that time." He further emphasized the importance of this expansion, noting that it not only enhances travel opportunities for customers but also contributes significantly to the local economy through increased tourism and job creation.

These developments are part of easyJet's ongoing commitment to providing affordable travel options while supporting the destinations it serves. As the airline continues to grow, passengers can look forward to more exciting travel opportunities that cater to their needs and preferences.
