Significant Expansion of Routes from Casablanca
Air Arabia Maroc, the budget airline, is enhancing its service offerings by increasing flight frequencies on numerous routes across Europe, with a particular focus on expanding operations from Casablanca. As part of this strategic growth initiative, the airline will boost its flights to Basel from three to five weekly, to Lyon from four to six, and to Milan-Bergamo from six to ten weekly flights. Additionally, cities such as Bologna, Istanbul-Sabiha Gökçen, Málaga, Naples, Pisa, and Venice will see an increase in their connections offered by Air Arabia Maroc.
Further Developments and Adjustments
The expansion plans are not limited to Casablanca, as Air Arabia Maroc is also enhancing its flight services from Fez, Nador, Rabat, Tanger, and Tetouan. For instance, the number of weekly flights between Tanger and Barcelona will rise from eleven to twelve, while the route from Tetouan to Amsterdam will increase from one to two weekly flights, according to the portal Aero Routes. However, it is worth noting that the airline is also making some downward adjustments on specific routes. These adjustments will affect the flights between Fez and Montpellier, Rabat and Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle, Tanger and Brussels, as well as Tanger and Madrid. Notably, the route connecting Tanger to Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle will be entirely discontinued starting June 22.
