In a proactive operation, the judicial police of the Royal Gendarmerie in Marrakech targeted an illegally operating beauty clinic situated on Mohammed VI Street. This initiative is part of a broader effort to uncover suspicious activities linked to unlicensed medical practices.
The intervention was prompted by information gathered during investigations into a network previously dismantled, which was active between Marrakech, Casablanca, and Rabat, dealing in unauthorized cosmetic drugs. The findings revealed connections between these illicit activities and the beauty clinic in question.
During the search operation, law enforcement officials confiscated medical equipment and cosmetic products suspected to have questionable origins. These items were reportedly used under conditions that did not comply with sterilization protocols or health safety standards.
Following directives from the public prosecutor's office in Marrakech, the owner of the clinic was arrested and taken to the Royal Gendarmerie headquarters in Bab Doukkala for further investigation. She is currently under police custody pending her appearance before the judiciary.
