Visit to New Regional Office of the Ombudsman in Marrakech: Enhancing Service Quality

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, the Ombudsman of the Kingdom, Hassan Tarek, conducted an inspection visit to the new headquarters of the regional office located in the Jnan Al-Afiya neighborhood of Sidi Youssef Ben Ali in Marrakech. During this visit, he assessed the facilities of the building and the equipment available to the office, all aimed at providing optimal conditions for receiving and processing complaints effectively.

In a press release, the Ombudsman stated that this initiative is part of an agreement between the Ministry of Justice and the Ombudsman Institution, under which the ministry has made the administrative building available to the institution. This collaboration aims to enhance the working conditions of the office and improve the quality of services offered to the public.

Accompanying the Ombudsman during this visit were the regional director of the Ministry of Justice in Marrakech, Mustafa Nasiri, along with his advisors and officials from the central administration, as well as the regional representative of the institution for the Marrakech region.

The press release emphasized that this visit was an opportunity to expedite the operational readiness of the new headquarters, ensuring it opens its doors to the public at the earliest possible time. This is crucial for supporting the office's performance and enhancing the effectiveness of its interventions, thereby reinforcing the strategic direction of the Ombudsman Institution in improving regional governance. This aligns with its mission to protect rights and enhance the relationship between the administration and the public, in accordance with principles of good governance.
