Her death comes just a week after she was found unconscious in a swimming pool at a gym in Paris, which occurred on April 11 at a private club situated in the city’s 9th arrondissement. Following this unfortunate incident, Fares had been in a coma until her daughters confirmed her passing on Friday.

In a heartfelt statement released to AFP, her daughters expressed their deep sorrow, stating, “It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Nadia Fares this Friday. France has lost a great artist, but for us, it is above all a mother we have just lost.” This poignant tribute highlights not only her artistic contributions but also the profound personal loss felt by her family.

Nadia Fares was poised to embark on a new chapter in her career, slated to start work on an upcoming action-comedy project in September, which would have marked her debut as both a screenwriter and director.
