Important Updates on Train Operations
The National Office of Railways has officially announced temporary modifications to the train services connecting Kenitra and Marrakech. These changes will be in effect from Tuesday, April 21, until Thursday, April 23, due to ongoing construction work related to the high-speed rail line.
According to a statement from the office, the adjustments will particularly affect trains traveling to and from Marrakech. During this period, train services will terminate and originate exclusively at the Sidi Ibrahim station, replacing the usual Marrakech station as the point of departure and arrival.
Furthermore, the office has indicated that there will be a shuttle bus service available for passengers between Sidi Ibrahim and Marrakech stations in both directions, operating on a modified schedule. This arrangement aims to facilitate travel for passengers during the construction period.
Normal train operations are expected to resume on Friday, April 24, 2026, ensuring that regular services are restored promptly after the completion of the necessary works.
