A 43-year-old Moroccan man, Abderrahim Fakir, tragically lost his life during a violent police intervention in Bologna's Pilastro neighborhood on a recent Sunday. Reports indicate that Fakir had arrived in the area to visit relatives when local residents called emergency services, alarmed by his erratic behavior near a garage on Via Italo Svevo. According to the Bologna police, Fakir had reportedly caused damage to a police vehicle, which led to officers attempting to restrain him after he displayed aggressive behavior.
