A closer examination of the passenger traffic at the airport reveals a notable predominance of international flights, accounting for 371,076 passengers, which represents an increase of 8.27% compared to the previous year. Conversely, domestic flights experienced a decline, with only 34,180 passengers, marking a decrease of 2.84%. The overall airport movements also saw a remarkable improvement, with an increase of over 15.9% as the airport recorded 3,338 movements by the end of February 2026, compared to 2,879 during the same period last year.
In February alone, the airport welcomed 175,136 passengers, reflecting a slight decrease of 5.18% compared to the 184,713 passengers recorded in February 2025. Notably, the commercial airports within Morocco collectively registered a total of 5,909,802 passengers by the end of February 2026, marking a robust increase of 7.91% compared to the same period last year.
