Significant Drug Busts in Marrakech
In a recent operation, law enforcement officials from the ninth district of the Sidi Youssef Ben Ali security area in Marrakech successfully apprehended two individuals suspected of drug trafficking and the distribution of psychotropic substances. According to a reliable source, the police, accompanied by motorcycle patrols, executed a well-coordinated sting operation on the Zmran road, resulting in the arrest of two suspects riding a stolen motorcycle. A thorough search revealed that they were in possession of 40 narcotic pills.
In a separate operation, the same police unit arrested a third suspect who was wanted under a warrant for drug trafficking activities, located in the Upper Division area. Following their arrests, all three individuals were transferred to the judicial police department in Marrakech for further interrogation and to uncover potential connections to broader criminal networks.
