The Malian community residing in Morocco has expressed its strong support and appreciation for the recent decision made by the Republic of Mali to withdraw its recognition of the so-called "Sahrawi Republic." This statement, released by the High Council of the Malian Community Abroad - Morocco branch, highlights the decision as a manifestation of Mali’s sovereign will, aligning with the national aspirations and interests of the Malian people.

In their statement, the Malian community in Morocco emphasized that this strategic shift is seen as a reflection of a collective will, which enjoys broad consensus within Malian circles, both domestically and abroad. They believe that such a move will enhance national unity and promote regional stability. The statement further underscores the strong historical and fraternal ties that exist between the Moroccan and Malian peoples, founded on mutual respect, active solidarity, and fruitful cooperation across various fields.

The community also reiterated their loyalty and commitment to the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, commending the king's pivotal role in fostering values of peace and religious tolerance while enhancing stability in the region. This reflects the deep spiritual and cultural ties shared among the peoples of the African continent.
