Mondial Berry Seeks Buyers for Permanent Positions

Mondial Berry, a prominent Moroccan agro-food company, is on the lookout for experienced Buyers to join its procurement department. The positions are available at its facilities located in Biougra, Leqliaa, and Sidi Bibi, all situated in the Souss region. The company is particularly interested in candidates with a Bac+3 level in purchasing, logistics, or management, who have at least three years of relevant experience.

Founded in 2018, Mondial Berry specializes in the cultivation and exportation of red fruits, including raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries. The majority of its products are destined for European and Middle Eastern markets. To support the expansion of its operations, the company is enhancing its team responsible for sourcing raw materials, agricultural inputs, packaging, equipment, and services.

Responsibilities of the Buyer Role

The Buyer will be responsible for managing all purchases necessary for production, from identifying needs to overseeing deliveries in close collaboration with operational teams. Key responsibilities include identifying and analyzing purchasing needs for raw materials, agricultural inputs, packaging, equipment, and services; researching, selecting, and negotiating with suppliers; ensuring the follow-up of orders, deliveries, and contracts; optimizing purchasing costs while ensuring product and service quality; contributing to market monitoring and identifying new opportunities; and collaborating with Production, Warehouse, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams.

Ideal candidates should hold a Bac+3 degree in purchasing, logistics, management, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Experience in the agricultural or agro-food sector is considered an advantage. Candidates should also possess strong negotiation and analytical skills, be proficient in computer tools, particularly Excel and management software, and demonstrate rigor, organization, autonomy, and teamwork.
