Scheduled to take place from May 4 to May 6, 2026, the inaugural GITEX Future Health Africa will be hosted at the International Fair of Casablanca. This groundbreaking event aims to bring together key stakeholders in the healthcare sector, including healthtech companies and public officials from various African nations. The first day will feature an executive summit, followed by an exhibition and a series of conferences on the subsequent days.

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Casablanca, the GITEX Future Health Africa will spotlight advancements in healthcare technology, medical innovations, and the overall transformation of African health systems. Organizers anticipate that the event will attract international thought leaders, innovators in healthtech, and policymakers from across the continent, fostering a collaborative environment where ideas and solutions can flourish.

The event will run daily from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The opening day will host the Africa Healthcare Executive Summit, while the following two days will be dedicated to the Expo & Healthcare Conference, featuring thematic exhibitions and discussions. Confirmed exhibitors and sponsors include prominent organizations such as Morocco Healthcare Supplier, Elekta, AstraZeneca, and Numih France. Topics of discussion will encompass the integration of next-generation technologies and the practical applications of artificial intelligence within the healthcare arena.

Notable speakers are expected to contribute their insights, including Amine Tehraoui, the Moroccan Minister of Health and Social Protection; Professor Younes Bijiou, Deputy Director of the Mohammed VI Foundation for Sciences and Health; Chris Coburn, Chief Innovation Officer at Mass General Brigham in the U.S.; Professor Agnès Buzyn, former French Minister of Health; Dan Vahdat, CEO and co-founder of Huma in the U.K.; and Jan Schwaab, Head of Digital Transformation for Africa at GIZ in Germany.

The overarching goal of this first edition of GITEX Future Health Africa is to establish a vibrant platform for dialogue and exchange focused on the evolution of health systems in Africa, emphasizing healthtech, digitalization, and artificial intelligence as pivotal elements for future development.
