In the ongoing efforts to combat crime and bolster citizens' sense of security, elements from the ninth police district have been actively conducting field operations, which have resulted in significant achievements within a short timeframe.
During an initial security operation, law enforcement officials successfully apprehended two individuals suspected of involvement in a robbery case that involved violence. This arrest took place on the outskirts of the Wadi neighborhood, following thorough investigations and inquiries conducted by the relevant authorities.
The arrested individuals have been placed at the disposal of the judicial police, along with the seized items related to this case, to facilitate further investigation and the necessary legal actions.
On the same day, a second operation was carried out, thanks to the precise coordination between the ninth district officers and the motorcycle unit. This led to the arrest of a suspect believed to be involved in drug trafficking, who was found in possession of several pieces of hashish.
A search conducted at his residence in the Dawoodiyat neighborhood (Unit Two) led to the seizure of three slabs of hashish, in addition to a quantity of hallucinogenic pills and a sum of money suspected to be the proceeds from this illegal activity.
The suspect has been subjected to police custody while judicial inquiries are completed under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor, aiming to uncover all potential extensions of this case. These security operations are part of the ongoing strategy employed by national security services, aimed at addressing various aspects of crime and enhancing the sense of security within residential neighborhoods in Marrakech.
