easyJet Expands Winter Schedule with Nine New UK Routes

easyJet Unveils New Winter Routes from UK Airports

easyJet is set to enhance its winter travel offerings by launching nine new routes from various airports across the United Kingdom. This expansion aims to connect travelers to exciting destinations such as Rome, Ljubljana, Budapest, Agadir, and Reykjavik, providing more options for holidaymakers seeking both winter sun and cultural getaways. Starting from late October 2026, these routes will be operational from key airports including Birmingham, Belfast International, London Luton, London Southend, Newcastle, and Southampton.

Among the new services, Southampton will kick off the season with flights to Paris Charles de Gaulle beginning on October 25, operating twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays. Belfast International will see the introduction of two routes: Sharm El Sheikh, which commences on October 25 with flights on Wednesdays and Sundays, and Rome, starting on October 26 with departures on Mondays and Fridays. Additionally, London Luton will offer a new service to Ljubljana from October 26, featuring three weekly departures that provide easy access to the picturesque Lake Bled.

London Southend is also joining the fray, launching its Budapest route on October 26, with flights scheduled for Mondays and Fridays, appealing to travelers from Essex and London. Newcastle will experience the most significant expansion, adding three new routes to its recently established base. Starting October 25, flights to Fuerteventura will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, followed by Krakow on October 26 with flights on Mondays and Fridays, and Reykjavik on October 27, with travel available on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Birmingham will introduce a route to Agadir, Morocco, starting October 27, featuring twice-weekly departures on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

easyJet has announced that it will be the sole airline operating from Belfast International to Sharm El Sheikh, as well as the only carrier providing a regular route from Belfast to Rome. Furthermore, it will maintain exclusive direct connections between London Southend and Budapest, as well as between London Luton and Ljubljana. Kevin Doyle, easyJet's UK Country Manager, expressed enthusiasm for the new routes, emphasizing the airline's commitment to offering customers greater choice and connectivity. He stated, "We are excited to be launching nine new routes and packages from across the UK for this winter, providing customers with even more choice and connectivity. Whether they’re looking for winter sun or a weekend away in some of Europe’s most iconic capitals, this new batch of routes further expands the range of exciting destinations available for our customers to choose from at affordable prices."
