Fes Law Enforcement Dismantles Cocaine Trafficking Network
In a significant operation, the Fes police force, specifically the anti-gang unit, successfully dismantled a suspected cocaine trafficking network. This achievement was made possible thanks to precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance. The operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals, including three sisters aged between 17 and 35 years, a taxi driver, and another associate believed to be involved in drug distribution activities.
Initial reports indicate that the sisters were actively engaged in drug trafficking within the Wadi Fes neighborhood. Further investigations revealed that the eldest sister is married to a man currently serving a prison sentence related to serious drug offenses. During a search of the main suspect's residence, law enforcement officials seized approximately half a kilogram of cocaine along with a sum of around 4,000 dirhams, suspected to be proceeds from their illicit activities.
