In response to the chronic parking issues plaguing the heart of Marrakech, a new underground parking facility located at the Place du 16 Novembre in Gueliz officially opened its doors on September 7. Spanning approximately 9,500 square meters, this expansive two-level structure boasts a total of 429 car parking spaces along with an additional 60 spots reserved for motorcycles. The arrival of this parking facility is seen as a much-needed remedy to the persistent challenge faced by residents and visitors alike in finding adequate parking in this bustling area.

The facility operates continuously, providing 24/7 access to accommodate the needs of its users. Thoughtful planning extends to multiple access points; there is an entrance and exit on Avenue Hassan-II, another exit leading to Avenue du Cadi Ayyad, and an entrance on Avenue Oued El Makhazine, ensuring smooth traffic flow in and out of the parking structure.

The rates are structured to be 17 dirhams for four hours, 25 dirhams for eight hours, 30 dirhams for twelve hours, and 40 dirhams for a full 24 hours. Monthly subscriptions are available, priced at 570 dirhams for 24/7 access, 420 dirhams for daytime access (6 AM to 8 PM), and 270 dirhams for nighttime access (8 PM to 6 AM). For motorcycles, the rates are set at 3 dirhams per hour, with similar tiered pricing for longer durations and monthly plans.
