The Grand Stadium of Marrakech is set to undergo a significant transformation as Lamalif Group has successfully secured a contract worth 1.265 billion dirhams. This agreement focuses on enhancing the stadium's electrical and digital installations, with a completion timeline of 18 months. The contract was awarded following a competitive bid, which was initiated on July 17 and the proposals were opened on September 2, marking a pivotal moment in the stadium's ongoing modernization efforts aimed at preparing for major international sports events.
Comprehensive Upgrades for Enhanced Functionality
The scope of the project encompasses both high and low voltage systems, alongside critical components essential for the infrastructure's upgrade. Key features include specialized lighting systems, power supply and transformation equipment, as well as generators to ensure a seamless operational framework. Moreover, the digital aspect of the upgrade includes advanced pre-wiring for computer and telephone systems, wireless and wired networks, access control systems, and comprehensive video surveillance setups. The audiovisual facilities are also slated for modernization with the introduction of new screens, LED strips, and upgraded sound systems.
In addition to these enhancements, the project will integrate security installations, conference room equipment, and broadcasting networks, all managed through a centralized technical management system to effectively oversee the various components of this sporting complex.
