Jazzablanca Festival: A New Milestone in 2026
Under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, the 19th edition of Jazzablanca is set to take a significant leap forward. Scheduled to take place from July 2 to July 11, 2026, this year's festival will expand to two venues for the first time: Anfa Park, hosting 40 concerts, and the Arab League Park, featuring 10 free concerts. This year's programming promises an impressive lineup of 50 artists from across the globe, showcasing a diverse range of musical talents.
The schedule at Anfa Park is thoughtfully divided into three distinct segments: the first weekend (July 2-4) will spotlight renowned international artists; the week (July 5-8) will focus on listening experiences, discoveries, and contemporary scene artists; and the second weekend (July 9-11) will present grand shows that are sure to captivate audiences.
The venue itself is undergoing significant enhancements, including expanded spaces and a food court that has doubled in size, now featuring three distinct areas and over 2000 seats. Attendees can also enjoy a gaming zone complete with immersive and virtual reality experiences, as well as a premium reservation-only restaurant located on the terrace overlooking Stage 21. Additionally, the festival will continue to offer four free parking areas, with the new option for early reservations available to ticket buyers this year.
Star-Studded Lineup and Exciting Performances
Among the highlights of the festival, on July 10, the legendary Ms. Lauryn Hill, a multi-Grammy Award-winning icon of Hip Hop and R&B, will perform alongside Wyclef Jean, YG Marley, and Zion Marley. This performance promises to honor the legacy of the Fugees while introducing the new generation of Marley artists to the stage. Closing out the festival on July 11, Jessie J will headline a fully female lineup, featuring Madison McFerrin, Hind Ennaira, and Jorja Smith. Jessie J is set to present her new album, "Don't Tease Me With A Good Time," marking her first release in eight years and featuring hits that have become global standards.
Other notable artists include Faouzia, the Moroccan-Canadian singer making her debut in Morocco, Oxlade, a prominent figure in contemporary Afropop from Nigeria, zeyne, a Jordanian-Palestinian artist blending contemporary Arabic music with soul and R&B, and Danyl, the Franco-Algerian artist performing for the first time in Casablanca. The lineup also features the Cuban duo Gente de Zona, the French collective Deluxe, the German group MEUTE, and the highly anticipated reunion of the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble with Mehdi Nassouli, who previously performed together during the 2019 edition.
