Zamalek's Efforts to Resolve Financial Obligations in Morocco
A source within Zamalek Club has revealed that a delegation from the club is currently in Morocco as part of an intensive effort by the management to address several pending financial matters concerning former players. This initiative aims to resolve issues related to player registration and secure the necessary African license for the club.
The delegation, which includes Abdel Rahman Ismail, the contracts manager and deputy sports director, along with Sherif Safwat, the director of foreign players and coaches affairs, is in Morocco to hold discussions with Abdel Hamid Maali, a former Zamalek player currently with Ittihad Tanger. They are negotiating the settlement of his overdue payments, which amount to nearly $900,000. Furthermore, the Zamalek officials are also planning to meet with Moroccan defender Salah Msaid, another former team player, to finalize the agreement regarding his financial dues, which are estimated at around $800,000.
The club’s administration is intensifying its efforts to resolve all ongoing disputes and complaints lodged against Zamalek, aiming for a smoother operational future. By tackling these financial obligations head-on, Zamalek hopes to pave the way for better stability and performance in upcoming seasons.
