Wizz Air Enhances Connectivity to Agadir
Wizz Air is set to broaden its operations in Morocco by launching three new routes to Agadir, thereby significantly improving the city's connectivity with Central and Eastern Europe as part of its winter 2026-2027 schedule. This expansion is poised to enhance travel options for tourists and business travelers alike, making Agadir an increasingly accessible destination during the colder months. Starting from September 15, 2026, Wizz Air will initiate twice-weekly flights connecting Milan Malpensa with Agadir, utilizing its modern Airbus A321neo aircraft operated by Wizz Air Malta. This is a strategic move aimed at tapping into the Italian market, which has shown a growing interest in Moroccan destinations.
In addition to the Milan route, Wizz Air will also introduce services from Bratislava and Gdansk, commencing on October 27, 2026. The Gdansk route, in particular, is expected to expand from two to three weekly flights beginning February 11, 2027. This increased flight frequency reflects Wizz Air's commitment to catering to the rising demand for travel to Morocco, especially during the winter months when many European travelers are seeking warmer climates.
