The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a warning for today, Monday, indicating the likelihood of intense thunderstorms accompanied by the possibility of hail in various regions across Morocco. This weather system is expected to bring significant rainfall, with estimates ranging from 25 to 35 millimeters, particularly affecting the provinces of Ksarif, Taourirt, Jerada, Figuig, Ifrane, Sefrou, Boulemane, Khénifra, and Midelt. The storms are anticipated to occur from 2 PM to 9 PM today.
In addition to the thunderstorms, the forecast also predicts hot weather conditions, with temperatures reaching between 35 and 39 degrees Celsius. Areas that will experience this heat include Salé, Khemisset, Temara, Skhirat, Kenitra, Nouasser, Benslimane, Berrechid, El Jadida, Casablanca, Médiouna, Mohammedia, Sidi Bennour, Safi, Essaouira, Chichaoua, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni, Guelmim, Assa-Zag, Tan Tan, and Smara.
