Strengthening Organizational Dynamics: Women's Organization of PAM Prepares for New Empowerment Initiatives
On April 9, 2026, the Executive Bureau of the Women’s Organization of the Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) convened at the organization’s central headquarters, chaired by Khaloub Fitah. The meeting aimed to evaluate organizational performance and outline the work program for the upcoming period while addressing various organizational issues. This gathering coincided with the ‘Renewpac Summit 2026’ held in Rabat from April 7 to 9, which served as a significant international platform to enhance economic and political cooperation between Europe and Africa amidst rapid geopolitical and economic transformations.
In her opening remarks, the organization’s president highlighted the successful organization of the summit, commending both the level of preparation and the nature of strategic issues discussed, which primarily focused on sustainable development, economic integration, women’s empowerment, and enhancing their roles in decision-making positions. Fitah also praised the substantial and effective participation of the Executive Bureau’s members in various summit activities, including seminars, workshops, and interactive meetings. She noted that this presence reflects the renewed dynamism of the organization and its strong engagement in international discussions related to women's issues and development.
Fitah emphasized that this qualitative interaction with the summit's themes would bolster the organization’s position as a responsible and proactive actor capable of leveraging international experiences to enhance its performance and programs that serve women's issues, thus strengthening its national and international presence. Furthermore, she indicated that this meeting represents a critical point for assessing the progress of the 'Empowerment Caravan for Effective, Continuous, and Influential Representatives,' which has encompassed several regions of the kingdom, including Marrakech-Safi, Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima, and Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, in partnership with the fund dedicated to encouraging women's representation.
In this context, Fitah announced the continuation of the program through three new stops, starting in the Casablanca-Settat region, followed by the Fez-Meknes region, to further advance the empowerment initiatives aimed at enhancing the role and influence of women in politics and decision-making processes.
