Discover New Destinations This Spring
This spring, SER Viajeros Comunitat Valenciana is excited to announce a new flight connecting Valencia Airport directly to Helsinki, operated by Finnair. This marks a significant step in linking the vibrant city of Valencia with Finland and the broader Nordic region. Helsinki is not just a destination in itself, but it aspires to be a key transit hub for travelers heading to Asia and North America. However, our interest lies in the enchanting region of Lapland, Finland’s northernmost territory, which has gained immense popularity among tourists. While the allure of Santa Claus captures the imagination of many, it is essential to recognize that Finland offers a wealth of experiences beyond just Lapland. We will delve deeper into this fascinating destination during our program this Saturday.
Journey to Morocco and the Charms of Villena
Shifting our focus beyond the Comunitat Valenciana, our second destination is the captivating coast of Morocco. Join Virgilio Beltrán on a birdwatching journey along the Atlantic coast, where he will introduce travelers to the elusive 'Ibis eremita' through Numenius Tours. The itinerary includes stunning locations such as Marrakech, Essaouira, Cabo Ghir, Tamri, and Agadir, promising an enriching experience in the heart of Morocco.
Returning to our beloved region, we meet with Juan Muñoz from Turisme, who shares insights about Villena, a favored destination among Cadena Ser travelers. Villena is renowned for its impressive monumental heritage, largely attributable to its historical significance as a border town. Over the centuries, it has served as a frontier between Muslim and Christian kingdoms, and later between the Kingdoms of Castile and Murcia until 1833 when it became part of the Kingdom of Valencia.
To complete our journey, we have made a culinary reservation at Alegal, a unique dining establishment located at Avenida del Puerto in Valencia. This restaurant offers an innovative gastronomic experience that intertwines cuisine, design, storytelling, and music, creating a multisensory feast for the senses.
