Tragic Collision at Major Intersection in Marrakech
On the evening of Friday, a severe traffic accident occurred at the intersection connecting the neighborhoods of Douh and Abwab Marrakech with the Second March, involving a motorcycle carrying three young men and a cargo truck known as a "Rimork." According to preliminary information, the victims, all under the age of 25, were riding a "Bikan" motorcycle when they collided violently with the truck, resulting in varying degrees of injuries among them.
Sources indicate that one of the injured individuals is in critical condition, while the other two sustained serious injuries that necessitated urgent intervention from the civil protection services, who arrived at the scene promptly after being notified of the accident.
The injured were swiftly transported to Mohammed VI University Hospital for necessary medical treatment, while the relevant security authorities initiated an inspection and opened an investigation to determine the circumstances and details surrounding the incident, as well as to establish accountability.
