The Essaouira Regional Directorate of National Education has once again demonstrated its educational prowess by achieving remarkable results in the regular session of the Bac examinations, the results of which were announced early on Wednesday, June 17, 2026. According to an official statement from the Regional Academy of Education and Training in the Marrakech-Safi region, the success rate for the Essaouira Directorate reached an impressive 89.97%. This achievement places it at the forefront among the provinces in the Marrakech-Safi region.
A total of 3,867 candidates out of 4,298 who sat for the exams successfully passed, highlighting the region's commitment to educational excellence. Notably, the success rate for female candidates was approximately 91.05%, underscoring the increasing participation and performance of women in education. This marks the sixth consecutive year that the Essaouira Directorate has topped the results of the Bac examinations for the academic year 2026/2025, solidifying its position as a leader in educational success within the region.
