Moroccan runner Fatima Zahra Berridha has expressed immense joy over her continued success in the current season, particularly after securing third place in the 10-kilometer race held in Casablanca on Sunday. In a statement to the "Telquel Arabic" website, Berridha highlighted that her consistent hard work alongside her coach, national coach Mustafa Moussaoui, has yielded fruitful results across various national and international competitions.
In recent weeks, Berridha has made a significant impact on the athletics scene, achieving a series of commendable results. She participated in the Marrakech International Half Marathon on January 25, where she showcased her talent, followed by clinching the first place in the national federal cross-country championship in Bjaâd. Additionally, she secured second place in the Bologna Half Marathon and took third place in the 1500-meter federal race in Khénifra.
Continuing her streak of excellent performances in road races, Berridha finished the Rabat International Half Marathon in third place with a remarkable time of 01:09:29. Subsequently, she achieved another third-place finish in the international 10-kilometer race in Casablanca, clocking in at an impressive 31 minutes and 06 seconds, a feat that underscores her significant development this season.
Looking ahead, Fatima Zahra Berridha is set to embark on a new challenge as she participates in the 1500-meter race at the Mohamed VI International Athletics Meeting, scheduled for May 31 in Rabat. This event is part of the Diamond League circuit, and she aims to continue her impressive performances while proudly representing Moroccan athletics on this prominent global stage.
