In a significant operation aimed at curbing illicit drug trafficking, the Regional Department for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking in Tlemcen province has successfully confiscated over 200 kilograms of cannabis resin believed to have originated from Morocco. This operation, which underscores the ongoing efforts of the General Directorate of National Police (DGSN) to combat drug-related crimes, also resulted in the seizure of six drones that were presumably utilized in the trafficking activities. The authorities are continuing their investigation to identify the individuals involved in this operation and to dismantle the networks responsible for these illegal activities. Such measures reflect the commitment of law enforcement agencies to protect public safety and maintain order within the region.
