Egypt Commends Morocco's Efforts in Supporting Palestinian Causes
In a significant meeting held on Monday, the first session of the Morocco-Egypt Coordination and Follow-up Committee underscored the collaborative dialogue between Morocco and Egypt. The session was co-chaired by Mr. Aziz Akhannouch, the Head of Government of Morocco, and Egyptian Prime Minister Mr. Mostafa Madbouly. During this gathering, Egypt emphasized the critical role played by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Asharif Agency, which functions as the executive arm of the Al-Quds Committee. This agency has been actively engaged in various social and humanitarian projects aimed at bolstering the resilience of the people of Al-Quds. These initiatives reflect a deep commitment to supporting Palestinian communities and ensuring their sustained welfare amidst ongoing challenges.
Moreover, the Arab Republic of Egypt recognized a number of initiatives launched by Morocco that are making a significant impact across the African continent. These efforts exemplify the potential of South-South cooperation, a model that encourages collaboration among developing nations. Among the noteworthy initiatives highlighted were the Royal Initiative designed to enhance access to the Atlantic Ocean for Sahel countries, the Royal Atlantic Initiative, and the ambitious Africa-Atlantic gas pipeline project. Each of these initiatives aims to foster economic development, strengthen regional ties, and promote sustainable growth throughout Africa.
