Significant Drug Operation in Fes
In a recent operation conducted by the anti-gang unit of the Fes Security Directorate, a wanted individual was apprehended on the evening of June 15, 2026. This arrest was made possible thanks to precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance. The suspect was located on Ain Chkef Road and is believed to be involved in serious drug trafficking activities.
During the search of the suspect's residence, law enforcement officials discovered over 600 grams of cocaine, along with a sum exceeding 50,000 dirhams, which is suspected to be the proceeds from drug sales. In a shocking turn of events, a 15-year-old girl was also found inside the apartment, raising concerns about her welfare and the circumstances surrounding her presence there.
The arrested individual has been placed under police custody pending further investigation led by the competent public prosecutor's office. Authorities aim to uncover the full extent of this criminal network and identify potential accomplices involved in these illicit activities.
