Al Ahly Welcomes Sofiane Ben Jadida
In an exciting development for Egyptian Premier League club Al Ahly, the team has officially announced the signing of Moroccan striker Sofiane Ben Jadida. The announcement was made on the club's official Facebook page, stating that Ben Jadida, who previously played for Morocco's FUS Rabat, has joined the team on a three-year contract.
The transfer was finalized after the club's contracts manager, Issam Sarraj al-Din, traveled to Morocco to complete the necessary financial and administrative procedures in coordination with Wael Gomaa, the team’s football director. This marks a significant addition to Al Ahly’s roster as they look to rebound from a trophy-less season last year.
At just 24 years old, Ben Jadida is already recognized as a talented forward, having played a pivotal role in leading FUS Rabat to the Moroccan Professional League title last season, ending a 41-year wait for the championship. He finished the season as the league's top scorer, netting an impressive 20 goals. Ben Jadida's experience also includes a stint at Belgian club Standard Liège and participation with Moroccan club Raja Casablanca.
This acquisition is part of Al Ahly's broader strategy to enhance their squad, having already secured two other players, Ali Mahmoud and Aqtai Abdullah, from Enppi. With these new signings, Al Ahly aims to strengthen their chances of success in the upcoming season.
