Air Arabia Maroc is significantly enhancing its flight offerings from Switzerland, particularly strengthening the route between Basel and Casablanca. According to the aviation portal «Aerotelegraph», the low-cost airline is increasing its weekly flights from three to five, thereby providing more options for travelers looking to connect with Morocco.
In addition to Basel, the airline is expanding its services to several other European destinations, including Lyon and Milan-Bergamo, which will also benefit from increased flight frequencies. Furthermore, Air Arabia Maroc is augmenting its connections from Casablanca to various cities such as Bologna, Istanbul-Sabiha Gökçen, Málaga, Naples, Pisa, and Venice, enhancing its European network.
Beyond its main hub in Casablanca, Air Arabia Maroc is also intensifying its operations on select routes from Fez, Nador, Rabat, Tangier, and Tetouan. For instance, the connection between Tangier and Barcelona will see a slight increase, while the route from Tetouan to Amsterdam will be doubled, providing greater accessibility for passengers.
However, the airline is also making some downward adjustments on certain routes, affecting destinations such as Montpellier, Brussels, and Madrid. Notably, the service between Tangier and Paris-Charles de Gaulle is set to be completely discontinued starting June 22, an impactful change for travelers on that route.
