Agadir to Host the Second Edition of the Pan-African Youth Leadership Programme

Agadir Set to Welcome Young Leaders from Across Africa

The vibrant city of Agadir, located on Morocco's southwestern coast, is gearing up to host the second edition of the EPIK Summer Academy from June 25 to 29, 2026. This pan-African initiative focuses on leadership, skill enhancement, and the integration of artificial intelligence into various sectors. The event is expected to attract approximately 200 participants representing over 20 African countries, all convening to share insights and foster collaboration in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Empowering the Next Generation of African Innovators

Organized by the pan-African association EPIK Leaders, this year’s academy will take place at Lunja Village, offering a conducive environment for an immersive learning experience. Participants, including students, budding entrepreneurs, and community leaders, will engage in innovative discussions and collaborative projects aimed at transforming human capital across the continent. Building upon the success of its inaugural edition, the academy aspires to broaden its impact on African youth by emphasizing experiential learning and peer-to-peer exchanges.

Under the theme "Next-Gen Africa: The Artificial Intelligence Playbook for Leadership," the program will address critical issues surrounding artificial intelligence and its role in driving economic and social development in Africa. Attendees can look forward to a series of panels focused on empowering young Africans to engage in future technological innovations and exploring new leadership paradigms suited for the digital age. Training sessions will cover essential skills such as project management, team dynamics, and effective communication strategies, with certification opportunities facilitated through partnerships with esteemed international academic institutions.

In addition to skill development, participants will partake in personal growth activities, including psychometric assessments, and an exciting hackathon dedicated to artificial intelligence. Networking and team-building exercises will also be integral to the program, fostering meaningful connections among young leaders from diverse regions of Africa. The organizers believe that such interactions are vital for enhancing collaboration in entrepreneurship, innovation, and civic participation across the continent.
