The National Office of Airports (ONDA) has announced a remarkable milestone for Agadir Al Massira Airport, which recorded a total of 1,285,921 passengers by the end of April 2026. This figure reflects a robust increase of 10.79% compared to the same period last year, where the airport welcomed 1,166,916 travelers.
In the month of April alone, Agadir Al Massira Airport saw an impressive throughput of 328,639 passengers, marking an 8.87% rise from the 301,579 passengers registered in April 2025. This surge in traffic is indicative of the growing popularity of the airport as a preferred gateway for both domestic and international travelers.
Furthermore, in terms of aircraft movements, the airport documented a total of 8,994 movements during the first four months of 2026, compared to just 2,095 in the same timeframe in 2025, representing an increase of 11.11%. This uptick in both passenger numbers and aircraft movements underscores the recovery and expansion of travel services at this vital Moroccan airport.
On a national scale, Moroccan airports collectively handled a commercial traffic of 12,336,962 passengers by the end of April, which is a notable increase of 9.7% from the previous year.
