Trial Confirmation for Moroccan Football Star Achraf Hakimi

The allegations stem from an encounter the plaintiff had with Hakimi, which reportedly began on Instagram in January 2023. According to the woman's account, she was invited to his home after he ordered a taxi for her. She claims that during her visit, Hakimi engaged in unwanted physical contact, which escalated to rape. After managing to push him away, she reached out to a friend for help, who subsequently came to pick her up.
In a recent interview with Mediapart, the woman, who was referred to by the pseudonym Jeanne, expressed her intentions for the trial, stating, "I want to defend myself, to be heard. I want to explain myself. I want people to believe me." In contrast, Hakimi's legal representative, Fanny Colin, maintained that the confirmation of the trial does not imply any guilt on Hakimi's part, reiterating his steadfastness in defense of the accusations.
