In a remarkable development for the Moroccan cinema landscape, GDC Technology has partnered with Megarama Maroc to unveil the country's first Tricorne acoustically transparent LED cinema screen at the Megarama Rabat located in the Arribat Center. This innovative project is set to enhance the cinematic experience for moviegoers and is scheduled for completion in early 2027. The Megarama Rabat complex, which boasts 11 screens and approximately 1,500 seating capacity, will feature a premium auditorium outfitted with the cutting-edge Tricorne Premium LED technology. This system incorporates a fully acoustically transparent design with a pixel pitch of 3.3 mm, all powered by GDC's advanced LED media server.

The introduction of Tricorne Premium LED marks a significant evolution in cinema technology, merging high-quality visual performance with cinema-grade sound reproduction. The acoustically transparent structure of these screens allows sound systems to be positioned directly behind the visual displays, ensuring that audio emanates naturally from the on-screen action, creating an immersive experience for the audience.
