New Direct Flight Launched Connecting Strasbourg and Marrakech

On Sunday, a new direct flight route was inaugurated, linking the cities of Strasbourg and Marrakech, operated by the low-cost airline easyJet. This new service connects Strasbourg-Entzheim Airport with Marrakech Menara Airport, offering two flights each week, specifically on Thursdays and Sundays.

The primary aim of this new route is to enhance air connectivity between the two cities, which had previously been reliant on indirect flights or connections through other airport platforms. This direct service provides travelers with a convenient alternative for both economic and tourism-related journeys, as well as for community movements.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to develop air networks to Morocco, reaffirming Marrakech's status as a prominent tourist destination and an international hub. Additionally, this new service aligns with easyJet's expansion plans within the Moroccan market, recognized for its robust growth potential, with intentions to operate 19 flight routes from seven French airports by 2026.

The expansion is also supported by the establishment of a new operational base in Marrakech, marking the airline's first presence in Africa, aimed at bolstering capacity and launching new routes between Europe and Morocco.
