Marrakech Sees Multiple Arrests Linked to Electoral Process
On September 23, 2026, several individuals were apprehended in Marrakech and its surrounding areas due to alleged activities related to the electoral process. In the Mhamid neighborhood, a woman was taken into custody on suspicions of attempting to influence voters. Meanwhile, in the Oasis Sidi Brahim area, two women and a man were also arrested after authorities received a video indicating a potential attempt at vote buying.
