King Mohammed VI Hosts a Grand Dinner for Agricultural Exhibition Participants

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, King Mohammed VI of Morocco hosted an elegant dinner at the historic site of Mechouar of the Sixtieth - Sahn Al-Suwani in Meknes, honoring the esteemed guests and participants of the 18th International Agriculture Exhibition. The event was presided over by the Prime Minister, Aziz Akhannouch, who welcomed a diverse group of attendees that included the heads of both houses of parliament, government officials, and various dignitaries from African countries involved in the agriculture sector.

The dinner also saw the presence of members of the diplomatic corps accredited to Morocco, as well as key regional officials, including the governor of the Fes-Meknes region, further emphasizing the importance of this event in highlighting agricultural development and collaboration on a continental level. During the gathering, Prime Minister Akhannouch presented awards to commend 12 of the best production units across different regions, as well as the top producers in various sectors. Additionally, 16 outstanding contributors to the International Agricultural Exhibition in Morocco were recognized for their significant efforts in enhancing the agricultural sector and promoting food security in the country.
