King Mohammed VI Condemns Iranian Aggression Against Bahrain's Security

King Mohammed VI's Strong Condemnation of Iranian Aggression

On May 2, 2026, King Mohammed VI of Morocco expressed his firm condemnation of the recent Iranian aggression against the Kingdom of Bahrain. This statement was conveyed through a written message addressed to King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain. In this note, King Mohammed VI reiterated his strong disapproval of the Iranian actions that jeopardized the security and stability of the Bahraini people, targeting both civilian and military installations, as well as residential areas. He expressed confidence that Bahrain, under its wise leadership, would navigate through this challenging period, emerging stronger and more stable.

Furthermore, King Mohammed VI emphasized that the security of Bahrain is intrinsically linked to the security of all Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and is an integral part of Morocco's own security. In light of these developments, the Moroccan monarch conveyed Morocco's unwavering support for Bahrain in all internal measures it undertakes to counteract the veiled threats aimed at the national constants of the Bahraini people. Additionally, he endorsed the strict and decisive measures intended to purify the Bahraini social fabric and safeguard its national unity, countering any attempts to undermine its stability and security.
