Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Risk Management Information Analyst at SG Africa Technologies & Services (SG ATS), you will be stationed in Casablanca and be a vital member of the Operational Risk Management (ORM) department, specifically within the Risk & Management Information (RMI) team. Your primary role will involve the production, analysis, and management of reports and dashboards focusing on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) related to operational risks within the Sales & Trading sectors, catering to the first line of defense in the MARK department. In this international context, you will collaborate closely with ORM teams located in Europe (Paris, London), Asia, and the Americas, as well as with IT and business teams. This position is pivotal within the RMI team, playing a central role in governance, cross-functional coordination, and ensuring operational continuity.
Your duties will include designing, developing, and maintaining KRI dashboards and reports, analyzing data quality, and investigating any anomalies. You will also propose continuous improvements to indicators and methods, collect and formalize business needs, and manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to the project roadmap. Furthermore, you will prepare and contribute to committee materials and management reports, track decisions and action plans, and focus on automating, standardizing, and documenting processes to enhance efficiency.
Required Profile
The ideal candidate will possess a Bac+5 degree (engineering school, university, or equivalent) and have a minimum of five years of experience in regulatory reporting and/or risk management, with a significant emphasis on data analysis. Experience in project coordination or as a point of reference is preferred, and given the international nature of the role, fluency in English is essential. Required technical skills include proficiency in Python (using libraries like pandas and numpy for reporting automation), SQL (for complex queries, optimization, and data quality control), Power BI (for data modeling, DAX, and creating dynamic dashboards), and advanced Excel skills (including VBA, Power Query, and Power Pivot). Functional competencies should encompass data management and governance, decision-oriented data visualization, translating business needs into data solutions, project management, and the automation of reporting processes. Additionally, strong analytical rigor, attention to detail, effective communication with IT and risk stakeholders, autonomy, synthesis abilities, and results orientation are crucial.
