Intensive Drug Trafficking Operations in Marrakech

Recently, the judicial police center at Bab Doukkala in Marrakech launched a rigorous security campaign aimed at combating drug trafficking and the smuggling of alcoholic beverages. This operation, described as "significant" by sources from Akhbarona, resulted in the apprehension of several suspects notorious for their involvement in the drug trade, including individuals known by the nicknames "Roubio", "Rovix", and "Weld Al-Attar". Within just one week, law enforcement officials confiscated over half a ton of illicit drugs, in addition to several tons of smuggled alcoholic beverages and a considerable amount of homemade liquor, locally known as "Mahia", that was intended for distribution in the local market.

Moreover, the operation led to the arrest of another dangerous individual known as "Bicho", who is infamous for his drug trafficking activities and is the subject of numerous national arrest warrants. This crackdown aligns with the directives from the regional commander of the gendarmerie, in coordination with the company commander and under the direct supervision of the newly appointed head of the judicial police center, Younes Aakifi. The initiative is part of broader security efforts aimed at tackling various forms of illegal trade and enhancing the fight against drug trafficking and the smuggling of alcoholic beverages in Marrakech.

The effectiveness of this security campaign has showcased the vigilance of the personnel at the Bab Doukkala judicial police center, highlighting the practical experience of the center's chief, Younes Aakifi, in managing such operations.
