He further emphasized that Morocco is asserting itself on the international stage, having succeeded where many institutions, including the United Nations, have faltered, often surrendering in the face of their failures.
Azoulay stressed that Moroccan civilization has not succumbed to historical amnesia; rather, its historical intersections and extensions are deeply rooted, allowing every individual to feel at home without compromise. He expressed pride in Morocco, stating, "There is no reason for us to refrain from celebrating our country's successes. No one else will do it for us now, but they will in the future." He poignantly reflected on the global climate of hostility, urging all to cling to their identities and sense of self, asserting that the compass lost by the world today is distinctly Moroccan.
He concluded by recognizing that while diversity in many parts of the world often leads to complexity and conflict, Morocco represents a living testament to a peaceful historical legacy that is actively woven into the fabric of its society.
